Bhavin commenced specialist training at King's College London in 2005 obtaining the Master of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontology with distinction and Membership in Restorative Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. During his postgraduate studies, Bhavin was awarded research grants by The Royal College of Surgeons and The British Endodontic Society.
Currently, Bhavin divides his time between specialist practice and his role at Guy's Hospital where he is a consultant in endodontics. Here, he is involved in postgraduate training but also actively contributes to the training of undergraduate students and dental foundation dentists. He has worked in practice limited to endodontics since 2006. Bhavin has contributed to four dental textbooks including the 'Principles of Endodontics' and 'Pitt Ford's Problem-Based Learning in Endodontology'. He has also written in a number of peer reviewed journals and is a referee for the International Endodontic Journal and Endodontic Practice.
